PROJECT TREE – Supporting Rubber Plantation at PT Gembala Sriwijaya.

Project TREE collaborated with PT Gembala Sriwijaya through a production observation at its rubber plantation in Muara Enim, South Sumatra. Project TREE provided fertilizer to evaluate its effect on rubber production. The observation showed that the fertilized area recorded higher production than non-fertilized area. These initial results indicate a positive potential effect of fertilizer application. Project TREE will continue monitoring the results to evaluate the longer-term effects under field conditions.
