During the third quarter of 2023, PROJECT TREE has attracted 928 smallholders (Male 745, Female 183). So far, a total of 6,883 smallholders have joined PROJECT TREE (5,732 Male, 1,151 Female). Apart from smallholders, PROJECT TREE also involves stakeholders from the government in providing data and information on the potential of natural rubber commodities. One Government Agriculture Service in South Sumatera appreciates PROJECT TREE in its efforts to improve the capacity of smallholders in the region and strive to keep natural rubber remains a leading commodity in the agricultural sector with good agricultural practices.

PROJECT TREE Traceability App Users (as of September 2023)

The traceability system with incentive schemes offered by PROJECT TREE can also be an opportunity to support the economy of smallholder households, as stated by Mr. Panijo, one of the PROJECT TREE participants from Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. As of September 2023, a total of 986 smallholders have joined the PROJECT TREE traceability system, of which 606 have registered their plantation in polygons with TRACY.
